TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
